The Plugin Credit System

Gatsbi’s Plugin Credit System enables access to advanced add-on features such as the Humanizer plugin—without affecting the core Gatsbi experience. Here’s how it works:

What Are Plugin Credits?

Plugin Credits are a separate resource used only for plugin-based features, such as the Humanizer and future add-ons.
They do not affect your access to core tools like:

• Gatsbi Writer (paper generation)
• Gatsbi Innovator (research ideation)

Monthly Free Plugin Credits

Every active member receives free Plugin Credits each billing cycle, which refresh automatically on the day after your subscription renewal date.

• Unused free credits do NOT roll over to the next month. Be sure to use them before they expire!

Buying Additional Plugin Credits

If your monthly free credits run out, you can purchase additional Plugin Credits anytime.

• Purchased credits never expire
• Ideal for high-volume users or urgent rewriting needs

Credit Consumption Order

When you use a plugin feature (e.g. Humanizer), credits are deducted in this order:

1. Free monthly credits first
2. Purchased credits only when free credits are exhausted

This ensures your complimentary balance is fully utilized before touching your paid credits.

Handling Insufficient Credits

The system handles low or negative credit balances with care:

• If you only have free credits, and they’re insufficient:
  🚫 You cannot proceed with the plugin task.
• If you have purchased credits, and the balance is positive or even slightly negative:
  ✅ You can continue using the plugin.
  🧾 The balance may go negative temporarily, and will be automatically repaid when you receive your next free or purchased credits.

This flexible system ensures power users aren’t blocked, while keeping usage fair and predictable.
