Transform Research Notes into Well-Structured Manuscripts

Since version 2.0, Gatsbi enables paper manuscript or patent disclosure writing based on your prior research or existing materials.

Introducing Gatsbi Writer

To get started, first select Gatsbi Writer from the top-left service menu.

You can then provide a description of your prior research and/or attach a .DOCX document.

Gatsbi Writer first generates a summary of your prior research, focusing on the core methodology and any available experimental results.

After that, if a methodological research is provided, you can choose to generate either a research paper manuscript or a patent disclosure from the interaction bar at the bottom of the main screen. For more details on the available options in the writing bar, please refer to our tutorials: Research Paper Generation and Patent Disclosure Generation.

Alternatively, if your prior work is an experimental research, case study or mixed-method research, only writing research paper manuscript will be available in the interaction bar. You can start writing with a single click.

Minimum Input

If your prior research consists of a methodology study, i.e. you propose a novel method, model or process to solve a technical problem, the minimum input for Gatsbi Writer is a description of your methodology. You can also provide the experimental results if they are available. If your prior research involves experiments or statistics only, then it will be considered as an experimental study, in which case, the experimental results are required for Gatsbi Writer to work. Similarly, if you want to write a case study paper, you need at least provide either narrative or quantitive findings of the case study to Gatsbi Writer. If any of the required information above is missing, Gatsbi Writer will display a reminder message and prompt you to provide it.

In addition, for evidence-rich domains such as social sciences, business research, and policy studies, Gatsbi also offers a structured Deep Research Workflow. When minimum input requirements are not fully met, the system can autonomously gather relevant literature and publicly available evidence, extract structured insights, and synthesize them into research-ready knowledge before writing begins.
